How to fix Unfortunately internet has stopped

Method 1: Clear Cache

The first method for fixing the error for the Messages error is to clear the cache of both the Google Play Store and Messages. Follow the steps below to clear your cache for Messages.

Open the settings app on your device

Scroll to ‘Apps’

Scroll down and find Messages, then tap it

Tap ‘Storage’

Tap ‘Clear Cache’

Tap the Blue Download Button on the next page and wait for the countdown
